Dr. Shah is the founder of Palmetto Medical Group and Integra WellCare. He is board certified in Internal Medicine with special certification in Integrative Medicine and special interest in Ayurveda. His approach is personalized medicine with holistic view with focus on prevention and lifestyle modifications.
Dr. Amit Shah obtained his medical degree from Municipal medical college in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India and was trained at Yale University affiliated residency program at St. Vincent Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He also has obtained special certification by American Board of Integrative Medicine. His passion is in a truly integrative model of care, providing cutting edge and evidence based medical care. His interests include arts, creativity, yoga, travel, and community outreach locally as well as internationally.
Daniel Kirkley, PA-C
Daniel Kirkley is a certified Physician Assistant currently licensed to practice in both North and South Carolina. He graduated with his Master of Medical Sciences Degree from Lincoln Memorial University – Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, TN. Upon graduating, he worked for 2 years in Surgical Trauma at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Columbia, SC. In 2019, he accepted a position working in Family & Internal Medicine at Palmetto Medical Group in Indian Land, SC.
Since beginning his work with Palmetto Medical Group, Daniel has had the opportunity to work in a vast array of different environments. He spends the majority of his time in clinic where he has been building his patient base. He has the experience and ability to treat any variety of acute or chronic illnesses. Additionally, his extensive background in Trauma allows him to help with a variety of procedures under sterile conditions. Beyond the clinic, he also has the ability to see patients in their homes under circumstances where they are unable to travel to the clinic. Most recently, he has taken on a role with Piedmont Research Partners as a sub-investigator providing examinations and physicals for patients involved in our drug trials.
Daniel was born and raised here in Lancaster, SC and moved back to the area in 2019. Not only did it bring him closer to family, this move also allowed him to give back to the community that instilled the passion and responsibility of serving others. Above all else, he values serving and meeting the medical needs of his friends and neighbors. He believes this is best accomplished by developing these relationships both inside and outside of the clinic. His commitment is to bring that to every single individual he has the opportunity of treating.

Alexa is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner whose journey began over 13 years ago as a Registered Nurse. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice – Family Nurse Practitioner with honors at Misericordia University. She enjoys building a therapeutic relationship and providing appropriate education to her patients which she believes is essential in ensuring quality, comprehensive and compassionate care.
